Three Sisters and a Farm

Nikki McComsey

Hi, my name is Nikki and I started Gather Mountain Blooms in my backyard in Colorado Springs in 2020. I never dreamed I would be a flower farmer; my previous career was in nonprofit management and accounting. However, in June 2017, I suffered a concussion that slowly and silently changed my life in ways that were difficult to understand. It was in these darkest days that my husband began bringing home flowers every week. It was honestly the only bright moment in my day. I would look at those flowers and feel gratitude for the beauty of the flowers but also the expression of love they represented.

I couldn’t stop thinking about the beauty and love that flowers brought to my life and I wanted to share that with others.

My two sisters, Leah and Abby, joined me in 2021 to grow the flower farm into a vibrant sustainable flower farm with community workshops and events. We are about spreading beauty and kindness as people gather together to share in special moments that create lifelong memories.

I hope that when you visit the farm or experience a bouquet of flowers, you find what you need in them.

Abby Remacle

Farm Operations

Hello.

Hi there. My name is Abby. I got started in flowers because there is something so special about being outside with your hands in the dirt.  I have always been connected to mother nature and the magic of it.  Growing flowers is the ultimate labor of love for me.

I was stuck in the corporate world doing the 9-5 behind a desk everyday.  The opportunity came about to start a flower farm with my two sisters and initially fear kicked in thinking about uprooting my life. But one day, I was on a solo hike and this vision of waking up to a field full of flowers, creating a space where others can enjoy, heal, and make memories wouldn’t leave me. I'm inspired by watching others chase their dreams, goals, and aspirations.  It motivates me to be the best person that I can be. I knew then that I had to follow this dream of growing flowers.

I grow flowers for community. I'm passionate about bringing all walks of life into a very inclusive setting where we can laugh, cry, share stories, and spark a sense of wonder. I'm most happy when I get to witness stars aligning and dreams coming true.  I hope I get to share the farm with all of you.

Leah Remacle

Founding Sister

Hi.

Hi, my name is Leah and I am so proud to have helped my sisters start Gather Mountain Blooms. In 2024, I moved to Woodland Park to be the caretaker of a beautiful property. While I miss working the farm with my sisters everyday, I am also grateful for the time I had with them and the flowers.

I have been a hairstylist for the past 22 years and am now working at Tru Hair Salon in Colorado Springs. I am staying connect with the flower farm by creating bouquets to sell at the salon here. Come see me and while you’re here, grab a fresh bouquet of flowers!
